It’s going to be all about…
That’s right. All those kinds of styles under the fat orange sun.
A little history: My business started in pet photography. Dan and I came up with “Fat Orange Cat Studio” to keep the business name fun yet deliberately vague, just in case…but I was sure my main focus would be on pets.
Then barely after I started, I had a pet client ask me if I would photograph her wedding. I told her no. She asked me again a few days later. I said no. The next time she asked we were out to dinner, and my stomach lining was soaked in free vodka. I said yes. The day of the wedding I was scared out of my mind. I had no clue what I was doing, why I had all that vodka, why she even asked.
But when all was said and done, I was surprised beyond anything by how much I enjoyed photographing that wedding!
I continued to photograph pets, but as I also began adding more weddings to my portfolio, it seemed that the next logical step was to spin off Fat Orange Cat Studio into its separate wedding arm.

The FOCStyle Open House will be held at Audrey’s Pet Supply & Services, 296 Newbury Street, Boston on March 3, 2011 from 6 – 8pm. Bring your best friend for a casual evening of drinks, treats, give-aways and pet stories. No vodka will be on hand :)
