Coming to WPPI!

More exciting news in the world of Fat Orange Cat Studio. WPPI, the massive convention and tradeshow for professional photographers, is kicking off today in Las Vegas, and I am happy to report that I will be attending!

Well, sort of…

Pinhole Pro is making its debut at WPPI this year, and they asked if they could feature me and my work at the event!

This one is Copp’s Hill Burial Ground, circa 1659, in Boston’s North End.

When I was a kid I used to do these mail-in orders for personalized pencils and notepads all the time. I couldn’t get enough of stationery goods. Huge bonus if I could get my name stamped on the side, on the top, wherever. Well, you grow up and find that things don’t change much at all. So when Pinhole Pro sent me this huge box of beautiful paper samples personalized up the wazoo, I passed out.

The paper quality in everything they make is really, really nice. Heavy, smooth, beautifully made. I christened my day planner with my calligraphy nib and ink. No bleeding through the page at all. And you don’t even have to touch it to know it’s the good stuff. It just looks good.

I loved the Day Planner so much that I ordered the smaller version for several of my best clients. You get to choose up two 13 images – one for the cover and one for each day of the month. One of their book cloth colors comes in orange, so of course I had to go with that.

And that’s just a little sampling of what’s to come from Pinhole Pro! I’m very excited to be working with them. If you’re going to WPPI, check them out at Booth 1607. I won’t be there in person, but I’ll be there in product!
