Let’s go back to that wonderful summer of 2014, when I island hopped from Nantucket to Block Island to Martha’s Vineyard (a Triple Crown?) and ate all those lobsters…This is Sarah and Conor’s Block Island wedding which I had the huge honor of documenting, after having done the same for her cousin a couple of years back. They were married at the historic Spring House up on the hill. My favorite part of the day might have been photographing guests trying to negotiate their lobsters – break the tail off and…hand it over to boyfriend/husband/someone else to do the rest? Scoop out the innards with bare hands? Eat the meat with a knife and fork? I was able to enjoy my lobster without anyone watching so ate the tail meat with my bare hands like an ice cream cone. Summer weddings in New England are the best. America!
