Wedding invitations are flying across the globe and into a mailbox near you. Here are some that were addressed by me:
For Erica who is having a bridal luncheon at Bergdorf Goodman restaurant in NYC. White gouache paint on kraft paper. Invitations by Parrott Design Studio.
For Nicole who will be married in Newport RI. Prussian blue gouache paint for both outer and inner envelopes. Letterpress printed invitations by Parrott Design Studio.
These are for Ashley who is having her wedding Newport. Higgins Eternal Ink. Letterpress printed invitations by Goosefish Press.
These are for Diana who is having her wedding photographed by Channing Johnson, as I found out later. :) This is a unique project in that she asked me to mimic her own handwriting, sending me a me a “quick brown fox” sample to go from and embellish as I saw fit. Growing up all I did was mimic my classmates’ handwritings. I did it up until high school, switching up my writing every other week it seemed. Who knows what my real handwriting really looks like. And now all these years later someone is paying me to do this! I enjoyed this so much that I’ve added it to my updated list of calligraphy styles.
Written with a Uniball SIGNO.
More to come, including an entirely hand-lettered invitation suite!
Lovely scripts!!
