A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Hooves the Pug, fellow resident of the South End. He clocks in at 33 lbs or so, making him a good 30 lbs heavier than the last (and first) pug I photographed. He came originally as “Brady,” as in Tom Brady. I think “Mr. Hooves” is a far superior name and it suits him very well! His owner made a very good call.
He’s such an adorable doggie! I love the B/W of him on the couch.
My favorite is him staring at the blue toy. His body language seems perplexed that it won’t move on it’s own. Too cute.
Such a sweet face! And beautiful photos as usual.
Are you still shooting in digital? That shot of him staring at the blue toy totally looks like you’re using a vintage camera. Or a film camera with expired film. It’s a beautiful style that I love and it made me wonder because I thought you shot in digital.
PS. Love the new masthead. Is that the image you chose for your holiday cards?
PPS. Every time I see a photo of your bunny, I think he could be brothers or first cousins at least with my Och: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qKV_IE0jJcA/SxfR_YY2PAI/AAAAAAAAGS8/Kw_KWsBhI6E/s1600-h/catcosy.jpg
augh, Brady?! Thank goodness his owner(s) changed that! Mr. Hooves is obviously his True Name. :o)
Such wonderful photos, as usual. It’s a toss up for me– the one of him on the couch of his face or the blue toy stare-down….but then again, the one of him yawning on the bench is great too… so hard to choose just one! :o)
Wonderful shots! You have inspired me to pick up my camera and brave taking pictures of my (and everyone else) pets. My dog just so happened to have a squeaking elephant just like the one pictured above.
