Back in July 2010 I did some signage work on faux slate boards for a wedding – welcome sign, menus, table numbers, etc. In total, I wrote on over 30 boards and used up at least a dozen “chalk” pens. I’ve been eager to see how they all looked in the field, and now finally, here are some photos!

Happy 2011!
Happy New Year to you too Li!
I’ve spent a long time going through your blog this past weekend when I discovered your beautiful work. I LOVE IT! I now have your site bookmarked, so I can visit it often.
I was telling my husband that I would like to drive down to Boston -we live in Toronto, Ontario- for vacation, when we could also visit New York city, and have a ‘Just because’ session. I would love to have pictures taken by you.
I am also a knitter and you can find me in Ravelry as ‘FibreJoy’.
I wish you and your husband a very Happy 2011, full of wishes come true and exciting projects!

Excellent Penmanship! I love the personal touch of each character written.
Sooooo beautiful! I think it’s almost more exciting to see them later and get that “surprise” element of seeing your work!
